Dear Independent Office for Police Conduct,

Please can you provide the video footage from the bodycam from all officers who were present at the scence. Along with the dashcam from all vechiles that were involed. And any CCTV footage that was collected by the IOPC. Please also provide any other footage for example from drones or NPAS if they were up.

I am requesting for this footage to be unedited apart from the officers facing being blured.

Dear Elliot Laxton

Thank you for your information request received on 12 November 2024. Your request was as follows:

“Please can you provide the video footage from the bodycam from all officers who were present at the scence. Along with the dashcam from all vechiles that were involed. And any CCTV footage that was collected by the IOPC. Please also provide any other footage for example from drones or NPAS if they were up.

I am requesting for this footage to be unedited apart from the officers facing being blured.”

We hold body worn video footage, dashcam and helicopter footage relating to this incident but do not hold any drone footage.

We issued recordings to those media outlets who had requested the footage following the end of the criminal trial. This has been published by various media sources and is already in the public domain via the following links:

The BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c17l...
The Guardian: https://www.theguardian.com/global/video...
ITV news: https://www.itv.com/watch/news/watch-pol...

We have decided that, given that this footage is accessible in the public domain already, it is not necessary to release any further footage in response to your request. We would therefore direct you to the published footage via these media outlets.

If you have any enquiries regarding this request or require a formal refusal notice please contact us. Please remember to quote reference 5025202 in any further correspondence about this matter.

Yours sincerely
