Dear Margaret,

I am answering your Freedom of Information request on the basis that

1 NRR = 1st Battalion, Northern Rhodesia Regiment

3& 7 RRR = 3rd and 7th Battalions, Royal Rhodesia Regiment

and that you are asking about their actions in support of the NRP
(Northern Rhodesia Police) during the Lumpa Church uprising in Chinsali in
the then Northern Rhodesia in 1964.

If any of this is incorrect please let me know.

Yours sincerely,

Mary Pring
