Thank you for your recent request for information which we are dealing
with under the Freedom of Information Act.

I am in the process of collating the answers to your request. In order to
give you the correct details for question 1 - How many pupils aged 5 - 18,
do not currently have any educational provision - are you able to clarify
this further, for example:

a. children who are known to the LA and are not registered on a school
role or as EHE

b. children known to the LA who are registered with the LA admissions and
are currently waiting for a place and still not accessing education.

c.  children known to admissions who have applied for a school place and
have been told there are no spaces. These could be waiting for appeal or
refused the offer of an alternative school and therefore are still not
accessing education.

d. children who are excluded and are not attending provision

Information Regulations 2004.

I can confirm that we hold information that falls within the scope of your
request. The answers to your questions have been provided in Red Text

How many pupils aged 5 - 18, do not currently have any educational
provision?

On the 3^rd January we requested clarification for this question but have
received no response to date. If you still require the answer to the
question please let us know and we will re-submit as a new request.

How many pupils aged 5 - 18 on the SEND register, do not currently have
any educational provision?

All pupils on the Additional Learning Needs Register would be receiving
education provision from the Local Authority or would be Electively Home
Educated (EHE) as per parental request.

How many pupils aged 5 - 18 with an EHCP or statement, do not currently
have any educational provision?

All pupils with a Statement of Special Educational Needs (SEN) would be
receiving education provision from the Local Authority or would be
Electively Home Educated (EHE) as per parental request.

If there is any further information that we can provide, please submit a
further request. If you have any queries about this email or if you are
unhappy with the service you have received in relation to your request and
wish to make a complaint or request a review of our decision, please
contact me.

If you are not content with the subsequent outcome of your complaint, you
may apply directly to the Information Commissioner for a decision.
