Children with detained parents
Dear Enfield Council,
Please could information be sent electronically to the above email address.
In the past 5 years, how many children (under age 18 years, who are UK citizens or have leave to remain in UK) were placed in county care due to one or more parents being detained by the Home Office relating to their immigration status?
If relevant, how many of these children were reunited with parents after the parental detention?
Thank you for your time
Yours faithfully,
Clare Keys

immigration status?
There have been no children accommodated over the last five years due to
their parents being detained because of their immigration status. While we
do care for children with parents in prison – there has not been a case
where this has happened due to immigration issues.
If relevant, how many of these children were reunited with parents after
the parental detention

Dear Ms Keys
Thank you for your email dated 1^st December 2020, where you requested
all information held by the Council regarding the handling of Freedom of
Information request (reference CRM FOI 8572), to include any internal
correspondence. Please find attached all information held by the Council
in order to satisify this request.

redacted the contact information of staff members below senior management
level, who would expect their personal information to be handled securely
and confidentially by the Council.
