1.       A list of the residential units operated by your local authority.

 

-          Fife Council have 4 residential houses for children and young
people.

·         Rimbleton Park, Glenrothes

·         Maidstone, Leven

·         Arndean, Dunfermline

·         Park Road, Kirkcaldy

 

2.       In 2016, how many children were living in these units in total in
your local authority?

 

-          In 2016 a total of 47 children/young people lived in the 4
residential houses (Maximum of 20 at any one time).

 

3.       In 2017, how many children were living in these units in total in
your local authority?

 

-          In 2017 a total of 43 children/young people lived in the 4
residential houses (Maximum 19 at any one time).

 

4.       In 2016, how many times were children staying in these units
reported missing to the police?

 

-          In 2016  12 children/young people living in the residential
houses were reported missing totalling  53 occurrences.

 

5.       In 2017, how many times were children staying in these units
reported missing to police?

 

-          In 2017 6 children/young people living in the residential
houses were reported missing totalling  26 occurrences.
