Children Missing Education Numbers
Dear Blaenau Gwent County Borough Council,
Please can you tell me how many children in your area were recorded as "CME" or children missing education during the academic year 2022-23? These are children who are not registered at school and not receiving education otherwise than at school.
Does the local authority record the numbers of children missing education each month? If so, please provide the CME numbers by month for the academic year 2022-23.
Does the local authority record categories of children missing education? If so, please provide the CME categories by month and by year for the academic year 2022-23.
Does the local authority record the length of time a child or young person has been CME? If so, please provide me with numbers for the academic year 2022-23.
Does the local authority record whether a CME child or young person has ALN? If so, please provide the numbers of CME with ALN during the academic year 2022-23.
