Childcare take-up 2018
Dear Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead,
Does the council have reciprocal agreements with other surrounding local authorities to fund childcare for children from other areas?
How many parents have signed up to the Two Year Old Funding - Early Years scheme?
Has the Royal Borough attempted to reclaim any funding from the scheme for missed hours since the scheme was introduced?
Yours faithfully,
Stephen Delahunty

Our Response
Does the council have reciprocal agreements with other surrounding local
authorities to fund childcare for children from other areas?
We will fund eligible 2 year olds who are not resident within RBWM, if
they are attending a registered Early Years provider within the local
authority.
How many parents have signed up to the Two Year Old Funding - Early Years
scheme?
To date (10.05.18), we have 270 two year olds registered as eligible for
funding.
Has the Royal Borough attempted to reclaim any funding from the scheme for
missed hours since the scheme was introduced?
We would only ever consider adjusting funding for a provider where a child
is absent for a prolonged period of time.
