Dear Vicki Taylor,

We are in receipt of your Freedom of information request and this is your
reference number 12070

Please can I draw your attention to the following updated message which is
available on our council website.

Latest information about making an information right requests’

The Information Commissioner’s Office recognises the unprecedented
challenges all are facing during the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic and
people may experience delays when making information rights requests
during the pandemic.

In light of this current situation, we’ve fewer team members available to
carry out the usual day to day activities as Bury Council is currently
handling a large volume of business critical work aimed towards the
protection and safeguarding of at risk groups during the COVID-19
outbreak. This means we can't prioritise any requests for information at
the moment.

Please consider whether the information you want is absolutely essential
before you submit a request. Our team members will only begin to process
these requests once they’ve completed all other priority tasks. Therefore,
please expect a significant delay in receiving any information you
request.

We’re sorry for any inconvenience this may cause, and we hope you
understand that we need to give priority to our essential services but if
you are dissatisfied, we would advise you to re-submit the request in 3-6
months when we may be in a position to confirm our response.

Kind Regards,

Lewis Codd
