Dear Gwynedd Council,
Under the Freedom of Information Act 2000, please provide me with the following information:
1/ In the previous 5 years, how many complaints made against Gwynedd Council Child protection Services have gone past stage two of the complaints Procedure.
2/ Out of the complaints that went no further than stage two of the complaints procedure, how many complaints ended with a positive result to those who made the complaint, and how many were left feeling unsatisfactory.
3/ Of those who were left unsatisfactory, how many then went on to stage three of the complaints procedure? And how many followed the entire complaints procedure to the end left with a satisfied and unsatisfide result.
4/ Also, is ‘data protection’ compulsory in the job discription of child services support workers (social workers), and If ‘yes’ who’s job would it be to make sure that the social workers are up to date with the rules and guidelines to follow in regards to data protection?
