Dear Jassal, Jasvinder - Cafcass,

CAFCASS is an organisation that is connected to the biggest adoption agencies in the world. Your Chief Executive Anthony Douglas is also the Chair of the British Association of Adoption and Fostering and Cafcass has relations with CORAM who give advice on parents and children being assessed (negative assessments ensuring the parents lose their children despite the children never having been harmed and the parents never having committed any criminal offence against their children.)

Anthony Douglas writes the books that social workers study in their role to remove children from families.

Anthony Douglas was one who wrote the Public Law Outline ie he wrote the guidelines that Judges follow in their removal of children from families.

The board of CAFCASS was dismissed in 2003 as one of the board members revealed that CAFCASS were not operating in accordance with the Principles of Public Service and were instead placing their 'corporate' interests as a priority. Further it was highlighted that CAFCASS are not accountable for their budget or their actions.

Is the above the reason why CAFCASS do not hold any records on their recommendations and the children that they remove from families?

Please send this for Internal Review. Removing children from families is a VERY SERIOUS MATTER and the public need to have the ability to ensure that it is done lawfully and with good reason.

Yours sincerely,

LS Palmer
