Further to your recent request under the Freedom of Information Act,
please see our response below.

Where three children were reported to have died when known to Social
Services between 2003 – 2013 and one child between 2013 – 2017.

Could you further clarify and/or provide the following information please?

1.            How many of the three cases/children [period 2003-2013] were
subject to Family Court

proceedings?

Ans:       None of the three cases/Children (period 2003-2013) were
subject to family court proceedings.

2.            Was the one in the period 2013 - 2017 also subject to Family
Court proceedings?

Ans:       The one child in the period 2013-2017, was not subject to care
proceedings.

If you are dissatisfied with the response to your request, under the
Authority’s FOI Policy, you may appeal in writing setting out the reasons
why you think the decision is erroneous, to the Authority’s Monitoring
