“Can you tel  me the number of payments made in each of the fol owing years that were as a 
a result of recognition of official error in the payment of child benefit.  
 
2019 
2020 
2021” 
 
The totals for the years requested are: 
 
April 2019 to March 2020 a total of 2464 official errors were raised totalling £841,172.06  
April 2020 to March 2021 a total of 2016 official errors were raised totalling £759,287.75. 
April 2021 to March 2022 a total of 1275 official errors were raised tota lling £450,740.71.
