child abuse statistics among those of Pakistani origin

We're waiting for Arub Syed to read a recent response and update the status.

Dear Health and Care Professions Council,

I am a freelance writer/journalist for South Asian online magazine, DESIBlitz. I am writing my next article on child abuse in Pakistan. I will be comparing this with incidences of child abuse among British Pakistanis. For this I am requesting:

-Statistics regarding the ethnicities of children who have reported to be victims of child abuse from 1997-2017. Specifically the number of Pakistanis reporting abuse.
-The most prevalent form of abuse among Pakistanis - eg. sexual, physical, psychological etc.

Yours faithfully,

Arub Syed

FOI, Health and Care Professions Council

We do not hold the information you have requested. The HCPC does not hold
any statistically significant ethnicity data on any of the professions or
complainants on our registers. The ethnicity data we do hold is not linked
