Dear Brighton and Sussex University Hospitals NHS Trust,

I was wondering the following:

The number of locum/ agency staff at the trust within the pharmacy department AND the total locum spend within that job group from this financial tax year to date?

The name of the Chief Pharmacists within the trust?

Yours faithfully,

Jake

Dear Jake,

We are writing with regard to your recent request for information under the Freedom of Information (FOI) Act 2000.

Advice provided under Section 16 (duty to assist):

The Trust has a responsibility under section 16 of the Act to provide assistance with FOI requests where possible and reasonable to do so.

Under section 8(1)(b) of the Act, for a request to be considered valid the name of the applicant must be stated. Any variation of the requester’s title or first name combined with their surname (e.g. Mr Smith or John Smith) will be sufficient to meet this requirement. However, a first name or surname provided in isolation, or a set of initials, will not.

Since you have not indicated your surname we are unable to process your request. Further information about submitting FOI requests can be found on the ICO website – https://ico.org.uk/for-the-public/offici...

Please note that the 20 working day clock associated with FOI requests will restart once we have received a response from you.

We look forward to your reply and will respond in due course. Some information, however, might be withheld due to exemptions which are allowed for by the Act. If this is the case, we will tell you that we have withheld information and why.

In the meantime, if we can be of further assistance please do not hesitate to contact the Trust at: [email address]

Yours sincerely
