Dear Freedom of Information Office,

I do not mind, whatever is easier for yourselves either current incumbents or those for the last 5 years I'd not cost prohibitive. I do not believe the later would be as this information should be held within personnel files.

Yours sincerely,

Bob Smyth

Dear Freedom of Information Office,

Apologies, I thought I had replied.

Ideally, I would like the last 5 years. However, if this period exceeds the FOI limits then the current NPCC team will do.

Yours sincerely,

Bob Smyth

Dear Derbyshire Constabulary,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Derbyshire Constabulary's handling of my FOI request 'Chief Officer Qualifications'.

How can this be personal data ? The Ospre exams are professional exams only taken by police officers.

As for academic qualifications, many of your senior officers use BA etc after their names. By way of example the former Chief Constable Mick Creedon appears on two University websites.

Why would this data be personnel, have you asked the officers ? How can you inspire public confidence when you refuse such innocuous information particularly as policing is becoming a graduate profession.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Bob Smyth

Dear Freedom of Information Office,

As part of the appeal please consider the following:

1) The Sergeant and Inspectors's exams can only be sat by Pplice Officers. This information is not personal and is linked to the role.

Embarrassment because or multi attempts or failures is not an adequate reason in law.

2) Your Chief Constable has disclosed his English Degree from Leeds University in an interview with Derbyshite Life. His predecessor has disclosed his History Degree and post graduate Masters Criminolgy Degree in various online interviews.

3) Policing is becoming a graduate profession. It is right and proper to know the highest qualifications of those that lead.

Again embarrassment is not a sufficient reason.

Yours sincerely,

Bob Smyth
