Thank you for your request for information of 12^th September 2024 which
has been logged as RFI 8645 and has been dealt with under the Freedom of
Information Act 2000. We confirm that Cheshire West and Chester Council
holds information relating to your request.

For the purpose of clarity your request has been reproduced below:

I would be most grateful if you would provide me, under the Freedom of
Information Act, details in respect to the Independent Advocacy Service
(Adults) (Independent Mental Capacity Advocacy (IMCA) including
Deprivation of Liberty Safeguards (DoLS); Paid Relevant Persons
Representative (RPR) role under DoLS; Independent Mental Health Advocacy
(IMHA); Care Act Advocacy; Continuing Healthcare (CHC))

Please could you provide us with:

1.The current contract dates including any provision for extensions.

Our Response: The current contract started on 1^st September 2022 for 5
years.

2. If relevant, whether the contract has been extended and the current end
date.

Our Response: N/A

3. If known, whether a decision has been made on future extensions.

Our Response: No decision has been made on any future extensions.

4. When the current contract/s is/are due to be retendered.

Our Response:  This process will start in 2027

5. The current contract value.

Our Response: Based on activity the value is in the region of £300,000

6. Any planned changes to the specification when it is retendered.

Our Response: No decisions regarding this have been made at the moment.

7. The name of the senior officer (outside of procurement) responsible for
this contract?

Council does not disclose the names of junior officers, we consider that
the information is exempt from disclosure under subsection 40 (2) FOIA and
other ICO guidance which states that details of junior employees attracts
an absolute exemption from disclosure and that such requests are dealt
with under the regulations set out by the Data Protection Act 2018. For

8. What are the contractual performance KPI's for this contract?

Our Response: A large range of KPI's are reported on, including all of the
different types of advocacy and referral numbers, length of pieces of work
on each referral, hours delivered, outcomes and themes.

The Council considers that your request has been answered in full by
either confirming that information is not held, providing you with the
information requested, or explaining why any information has been withheld
and the reasons for any redaction. Where applicable, the Council has also
told you the reasons for the delay in responding to your request.
