CHDA Contract

The request was refused by Department for Work and Pensions.

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

1. Please can you provide the now 'expired' contract the DWP held with CHDA, including the extension agreement. As you have a new contract and the previous contract no longer has commercially sensitive information.

2. As a secondary minor request, please can you provide the current contract.

As a former employee, please note that several US companies do actually talk to one another and a lot of the current CHDA management were part of ATOS or return to ATOS/similar companies (corporate espionage), the extent of meagre commercial sensitivity that existed, is significantly reduced and the last tendering process has concluded with a poor outcome for the UK. Information held by the DWP that should have been provided in previous requests, should now be provided given statutory processes and that the DWP should ultimately serve the public of United Kingdom not Maximus Inc.

Many thanks, please use common sense (unsigned version) when responding and provide information to this address, electronically (as it is the format the information is in), to save time. Estimated time to do the above is 2 hours although the responses for any consultations will extend the work whilst only serving to delay/prevent disclosure.

Yours faithfully,

S. Ali

Dear [email address] on behalf of DWP Health Services Correspondence,

Thank you for upholding my internal review. As the information is available to several corporate companies indirectly and without permission of the DWP. I do not feel 'I am satisfied that there is a strong public interest in permitting public authorities to publish information in a manner and form and at a time of their own choosing." Is a satisfactory response.

I am aware it is deigned to inhibit bidding by other international or UK companies but not having an agreed date makes your response unsatisfactory. Please can you revisit this and maybe escalate to the Secretary for a response.

Yours sincerely,

S. Ali

Dear Department for Work and Pensions,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Department for Work and Pensions's handling of my FOI request 'CHDA Contract'.

It is long overdue and all information has not been provided. Outside auto-acknowledgement there has been no further input. This is unsatisfactory but normal for CHDA (having worked for them), it appears there is some administrative incompetence or adherence to rules of delay and non-response. Please resolve or I will forward have no choice but to take the complaint further.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

S. Ali
