Charges resulting from those from whom bladed weapons have been cofiscated at court

Response to this request is long overdue. By law, under all circumstances, Ministry of Justice should have responded by now (details). You can complain by requesting an internal review.

Dear Ministry of Justice,
For the last three years for which figures are available;
1. how many articles which could be classified as bladed weapons have been confiscated at courts in England and Wales?
2.how many of the persons from whom such items in 1. have been confiscated have been charged with the appropriate charge for carrying such an item?
3.how many of 2. have been found guilty?

Yours faithfully,

May Slater
