Changes to the shielding policy
Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
On 27 September 2021 Sajid Javed wrote to my husband by email changing the shielding policy for the clinically extremely vulnerable.
Please provide me with the briefing paper that was a provided to the Secretary of State to explain the rationale and background for sending this email.
Yours faithfully,
Louise Bicknell
Dear Ms Bicknell,

Department of Health and Social Care
Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.
I am writing to request an internal review of Department of Health and Social Care's handling of my FOI request 'Changes to the shielding policy'.
The document is redacted under the section 35 exemption. How can the public policy exemption apply when the information requested dates from September 2021 - 17 months ago. It relates to a policy that is no longer in effect and a decision that has been fully implemented. Therefore government policy has been formulated, fully implemented and there is to be no new policy on shielding. This process can no longer be harmed by the disclosure of this information.
I look forward to receiving a document with meaningful content.
A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...
Yours faithfully,
Louise Bicknell
