(FOIA).
Our online database, data explorer can be used to identify the number of
doctors on the specialist register. To access this information please
click on the following link:

Register/Stats/report. The speciality filter on the right can be used to
filter for particular speciality types or all speciality types. The
licence filter on the left can also be used to view doctors with or
without a licence to practice. The overtime filter can also be used to let
you view this information on a year by year basis.
