I refer to my email dated 16 August 2013 acknowledging receipt of your
Freedom of information request. You requested the following information :-
“Please can you tell me approximately how many requests the land registry
has received for the registration of chancel repair liability for the past

I attach a report in excel format showing the number of titles affected
and actual number of chancel repair liability entries made including
number of registered cautions since 1 February 2013.
 
The data provided has been collected from a variety of sources as part of
the land registration process. Whilst we make every effort to ensure that
the data we provide is as accurate as possible we cannot guarantee it is
fit for your intended purpose or use.
 
It is also subject to Crown copyright and there may be other important
publication restrictions, such as those concerning data protection. This
means that if you intend to publish or quote from the data supplied, you
must let us know in advance of publication.
