Dear General Register Office,
Is a b.cert an old R.B.D .1(replaced by MSF 4605)used in the merchant shipping industry that was for a RETURNING BIRTH AND DEATHS record ,which had two columns, left side being under the word BIRTHS(names in lower case) and the right side under the word DEATHS(names in upper case), which the last person on a ship(the ship MASTER) would sign when boat was empty confirming names on the R.B.D.1 had been delivered?
Also is a NAME after baptism recorded as "MASTER,x-x-x"('x' being given name(s))
I look forward to your reply,
