Please provide full salary details for chief executive Mike Hopkins in respect of his period of employment at Sussex Downs College. Please include:
- His base salary for each year in employment at Sussex Downs College
- The specifics of any payments he has received from Sussex Downs College in addition to his base salary (excluding expenses).
Please also provide the agreed base salary for Clive Cooke in his role as CEO of East Sussex College Group, as well as the salary range for Tier 2 manager roles in East Sussex College Group.

In terms of Mike Hopkins:
The salary disclosed in the financial records is of the Accounting Officer
(who is also the highest paid officer).
The Accounting Officer totals quoted below are not exclusively
representative of what the Principal’s earnt. The calculations include
different elements that reflect the College’s reporting procedures at the
time of production. This is shown in the following table with further
explanation below.

The Financial statements for 2015 excluded employers National Insurance
costs, therefore total shown was £188.
National Insurance was added in the 2016 financial report and pension
contributions were excluded. In 2016, the 2015 figures quoted for
comparison include all of the above elements, showing a total of £208,000.
The most accurate comparison would be the total Salary and National
Insurance across the 3 periods. This is shown above for ease of reference.
The figures represent the total over the College’s financial year which is
August to July. The Principal in 2015/16 didn’t begin work until
September. This means there is a month not accumulated for in the
financial statement for 2016, hence this is lower.

I'd like clarification on one aspect of my request; has Mike Hopkins received any compensation from SDC or ESCG with respect to his leaving his post as principal/CEO (e.g. bonus or redundancy payment). If not, is he expected to? Please include the value of any past or expected compensation.
