FoI 19278 - Cemetery Road Allotments, Birkby - Legal costs/fees

 

I am writing in response to your request dated 1 March 2019.  This has
been dealt with under the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

 

May I first of all apologise for the delay in responding to your request.

 

You asked for the following information:

 

Please can you advise of the total recorded legal costs/fees that the
council has spent so far in respect of its decision to close Cemetery Road
Allotments, Birkby.

 

The Council’s response is that it has not made a decision to close
Cemetery Road Allotments, and as such the information requested is not
held,.

 

A decision has been made to appropriate some of the land currently used as
allotments at that site for educational purposes.  If it is this decision
that you are referring to the Council would be minded to consider the
information exempt under Section 42; a full response would be provided to
any such request.

 

If you are not content with the handling of your request, you have the
right to ask for an internal review.  Requests for internal reviews should
be submitted within 2 months of the date of receipt of the response to
your original request and should be addressed to the Monitoring Officer,
1^st Floor, Civic Centre 3, Market Street, Huddersfield HD1 2EY.
