Dear S Chinnaswamy
Thank you for your request for information from Durham University.

Please find attached the anonymised data for the Reading School, Slough
Consortium of Grammar Schools, Buckinghamshire Grammar Schools and South
West Hertfordshire 11+ assessments sat in September 2017 (2018 entry).
Please note: CEM does not work with a ‘Berkshire consortium’.
Please note:
(a) CEM will only release standardised scores for the reasons below:
The University believes that disclosure of the raw scores
requested would prejudice the commercial interests of the University. The
University believes that disclosure of the raw scores would enable both
competitors and tutors to understand CEM’s methods in a way that would
undermine CEM’s ability to reduce the effects of coaching for its tests so
undermining its unique selling point. It is this unique selling point
that has resulted in CEM achieving considerable commercial success in this
market.
(b) Birth month is included
(c) Standardised scores included
(d) Mean:100 Standard Deviation:15
(e) Information not held
(f) Average raw score for each sub test – Information not held in
the format requested. Average standardised score for each sub test –
Information not held in the format requested.
