I would like to make a Freedom of Information Request for the following:

It has been stated that under your auditing process Brighton and Hove City Council would obtain information on whether or not a care home provider uses CCTV.

1. How many care homes who currently have commissioning contracts with the council use CCTV?

2. What are the names of the providers that use CCTV?

3. Where is CCTV used in these care homes?

Brighton and Hove City Council

The audit process would pick up any use of CCTV relating to the care of residents and would follow up any issues where this was judged to be inappropriate. There are no such arrangements re CCTV that we are aware of.
