I am writing to request an internal review of Calderdale Metropolitan Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'CCTV Repair Cost'.

Perhaps CMBC would like to reflect and expand upon this responce when added to the responce recieved when i requested from the camera system last year?

Here is Wendy Brough's responce:

Dear Mr Langford,

Your request for CCTV footage at Brighouse Customer First has been referred to me by Tracie Robinson.

I understand you requested footage following your 2 visits on 26 November 2014 around lunch time.

A member of my team visited Brighouse Customer First to download the footage but the CCTV was not working correctly and no footage could be retrieved. We then arranged for an engineer to visit the office on 12 December and he confirmed that there was no footage available.

I am sorry that we cannot accommodate your request .

I would say that a reasonable person or organisation would place the cost associated with a visit made by an engineer in the category of repair. Did the engineers visit cost nothing or did no engineer visit?
