Request under the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (the Act)
The council has considered your request which was received on 09 May 2023 and
our response to your questions is shown below.
Under the Freedom of Information Act, I would like to request the following
information:
a) The number of fixed CCTV cameras currently operated by the council in public
spaces.
371 CCTV cameras within the City boundary.
b) The total amount spent on CCTV provision by the council in the 2022 calendar
year.
£164,245.00
