Dear City of York Council,
I would like to request copies of CCTV footage of buses along Coppergate, York (in either direction), from Friday 2nd January, between 20:30 and 21:30.
I would like to stress that all personal information is removed from the footage, so that only public information is contained within the footage, i.e. footage of buses.
If, in any part/section of the footage, personal information cannot be removed, I would like to request that only that part of the footage is completely removed, and any public information remains.
Thank you for your enquiry. We will ensure it is passed to the relevant service(s) and you will receive a response within 20 working days. We will contact you if we have any queries, need clarification or to let you know if we need more time to answer your enquiry in full.
However, if you are contacting us to ask for a review of a previous FOI response from us, we will pass your request to Veritau/Information Governance who will contact you about this.
Please note this is an automatically generated receipt to let you know we have received your email.

Dear Mr Brown
Freedom of Information
Please see below the response to your enquiry under the Freedom of Information Act received on 3 January 2015.
Unfortunately we do not hold any footage from the CCTV system looking at Coppergate at the times requested. The cameras were not pointing in the direction required for that period.
If you are dissatisfied with our response you have the right to ask for a review of how your enquiry was handled and responded to. This can be done by contacting us through [City of York Council request email] stating your reason(s) why you are dissatisfied, and we will pass this to the information governance team who deal with all reviews of how we have dealt with FOI enquiries. If after they complete their investigation and reply to you with their findings, you still remain dissatisfied you can contact the Information Commissioner, contact details below:
