1. The total number of CCTV cameras currently operated by the council
2. The total amount spent on the installation and maintenance of CCTV cameras in the 2020 calendar year

Our response is as follows:
1. The total number of CCTV cameras currently operated by the council
681 are operated by the Safer Spaces Team.
Street Service, Enviro Crime operate 10 mobile deployable cameras.
Directorate of Regeneration, Enterprise and Skills operate 40 cameras.
2. The total amount spent on the installation and maintenance of CCTV
cameras in the 2020 calendar year
£67,303.54 spent by the Safer Spaces Team.
Street Service, Enviro Crime total spend on maintenance is £5k for 2020 &
total spend on installation is £5.067 (this cost includes the deployment
and removal of camera from site).
£14,250 exc VAT.
