CCTV

City of Edinburgh Council did not have the information requested.

Dear City of Edinburgh Council,

I am writing to request CCTV footage of a road accident I was involved in. I am not sure if there are any cameras present/in the area of the accident but would appreciated if you could check as it would be helpful in my insurance claim.

The accident happened on Monday 13th February 2017 (at around 15.53pm) at Sighthill Roundabout EH114QX, from Broomhouse Road , heading towards Sighthill avenue, ending up on Calder Road.

I would appreciate any footage you could find of the incident. I was driving a silver Honda Jazz at the time of the incident.

If you require any further information please let me know

Yours faithfully,

Louise Ferguson

City of Edinburgh Council

We have checked our camera at the Calder Road from 15:40 to 16:10hrs on the day in question but I am afraid that although the camera (which is located next to the Silver Wing public house) is pointing east, it only has a partial view of the roundabout and the incident you describe is not captured, consequently we will be unable to provide any relevant data.
