My request is to Cafcass Cymru but I see that your answer is provided at a Governmental level.

I note that the Welsh Government is still not in a position to make a decision based on the Public Interest test. I am happy for the Welsh Government and Cafcass Cymru to be provided with an additional 21 days in order for them to reach a suitable and sensible decision.

Please could you advise when they will be in a position to do this, and could you also provide an appropriate contact in order that I may make a sensible and reasonable argument in support of this information being made available to the public for consideration during the Public Interest test.

Firstly, I wish to explain Cafcass Cymru is part of the Welsh Government’s
Health and Social Services Group.

 

My letter of 8 November explained we intend to respond to you by 1
December and this remains the case.

 

Our decision letter will contain details of our deliberations of the
public interest test, if you are unhappy with our deliberations, you can
ask for an internal review and at this stage you will have the opportunity
to advance your argument.
