CBA and VFM of BUS
Dear Department for Energy Security and Net Zero,
I have a series on inquiries about the Boiler Upgrade Scheme.
I am trying to understand its value by any means: cost-benefit analysis , value for money, social net present value (SNPV). I believe the latter is what was used in the final impact assessment; but I'll accept another consistently used metric.
Please will you provide the SNPV (or equivalent) estimate:
-before the scheme's implementation,
-around the grant increase to £7,500 in October 2023, and
-the latest data point, with a date.
Yours faithfully,
Michael Allinson
