Dear Blackburn with Darwen Borough Council,

Under the Freedom Of Information Act, I would like to request details any contract/tenders for catering at all
Council Premises including parks and Community Centers.

I would like any documents/correspondence relating to the procurement of the tender to the winning contractor/body.

I would like to see any email communications or official meeting documents (agenda's/minutes) relating to this tender process.

If possible, I would like to receive a copy of:
- any council subsidies of utility bills
- any public/staff feedback received during tender process
- any public/staff feedback into the awarding of the contract/tender.

Thank you for your request for information regarding ‘any contract/tenders for catering at all Council Premises including parks and Community Centres' (our reference 28910). The Council has identified the following contracts/tenders that would fall within your description of 'catering at Council premises.'

Witton Pavilion Café – Self Unlimited
Darwen Leisure Centre Cafe – Self Unlimited
Greenfields Community Centre Cafe– Self Unlimited
Turton Tower Café – To be confirmed

Your request for ' documents/correspondence' and 'email communications or official meeting documents (agenda's/minutes)', is broad and wide ranging. To complete the necessary searches of records, minutes of meetings and email accounts for numerous tenders would impose a considerable burden on the authority, which would probably exceed the appropriate limit in the Act. Therefore I am contacting you to see if you can refine your request for information to a specific tender/contract of interest or whether there is a specific document you would like to see for each tender/contract?
