Case Logs

The request was partially successful.

Dear Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service,

Once an entry is made on a case log, can that be edited at all and at any point, AFTER the original entry was made?

If so, can it be seen that it's been edited? And can the original entry be seen as well?

Yours faithfully,

Jimmy

Dear Sir

Thank you for your emails. Please accept this as a formal acknowledgement
of your Freedom of Information requests received on 18 May 2015:

1)    Please give all versions of this document. Preferably in date order
with the most recent last.

2)    Once an entry is made on a case log, can that be edited at all and
at any point, AFTER the original entry was made? If so, can it be seen
that it's been edited? And can the original entry be seen as well?

3)

a.    Please give a list of all parenting programmes that Cafcass work
with. I would also like the dates in which Cafcass started working with
each programme provider.

b.    Also, please state and evidence, how exactly a family court advisor
would go about finding the appropriate local one? Do you have a database
or similar?

c.    And if a family court advisor was to sit down at their computer, how
long would it reasonably take for them to find the appropriate local one?
Perhaps a full explanation and evidence to document as to what they would
have to do to find it on your computer systems may be better?

4)    What right do family court advisors have to ask a party to read the
other party's position statement? What right do family court advisors have
to even read a position statement? And especially where no court order
says they should read them?

Your reference number is CAF 15-95.

We aim to respond to you promptly, and at the latest 20 working days from
receipt of your request. You will therefore receive a response on or
before 15 June 2015.

Kind regards,

Dear Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service's handling of my FOI request 'Case Logs'.

Please give details as to as and when typically an FCA would refer back to old case logs and similar?

eg. In a case previously dismissed that was deemed as high risk by the original FCA, when new court applications were submitted and a new case underway, an FCA (same FCA as before or new different one) would refer to the original FCA's old case logs yes? Especially if those perceived risks weren't addressed or resolved?

Also an FCA will refer to case logs in on going cases as part of their on going case management and also in the sense of quality of their own professional judgement, integrity and as such all round conduct?

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address: https://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/c...

Yours faithfully,

Jimmy

Governance - Cafcass, Children and Family Court Advisory Support Service

Dear Sir

An internal review will involve a review of how the original request was handled and responded to. This will only relate to your previous request and the Cafcass response which is copied below:

- Once an entry is made on a case log, can that be edited at all and at any point, AFTER the original entry was made? If so, can it be seen that it's been edited? And can the original entry be seen as well?

- Please see information on entries within the electronic case record (and on the contact log within this) in the Cafcass Case Recording Policy, in particular page 12: If amending previous contact log entries, the reason for amendment is to be recorded. The modified date will be visible on ECMS and who modified the log, however the previous version will no longer be available.

Your below questions are new questions, and therefore would not be responded to in an internal review. Please could you confirm if you still would like an internal review of the original response, or if you would like the questions to be responded to as a new Freedom of Information request.

Kind regards,

Dear Governance - Cafcass,

Could you do it as a new request rather than a review then please?

Yours sincerely,

****BEWARE***

The public should be aware that CAFCASS are wrongly taking ‘Witness statements’ from the other parties “without a judge ordering witness statements” and incorporating witness statements into the S7 as certainly Leeds FCA’ and Manager appear to act outside the law.

Ensure a judge has ordered a witness statement & FCA hasn’t taken it upon themselves to act with powers only judges have.

This breaches EHRA Article 6 right to fair hearing.

This organisation is rotten by design, rotten to its very core and rotten by the bad apples in its cart. There is no regard for compliance or law but their failure to comply with the law will eventually be their undoing

Victoria,

Cafcass do this sort of thing all the time, unfortunately. I have seen your own requests to them. And unfortunately, that's just the way they work. You need to be thorough when dealing with them, as they set themselves up to judge their own work. Ofsted check them, but they check how many cases are dealt with in specified time targets and not on the quality or integrity of the work they do!

Essentially, it means they are/get to be judged on how efficient they are in ticking boxes and getting them back out the door.

There is case law from February 2014, on exactly what you mention. Google - 'Not allowed to get what the social workers want.'

Jimmy,

This organisation is a complete and utter shambles and it has had no external scrutiny by experts. Their CEO has jumped ship and left this lot to sink.

Topsy and Tim could have written this CIAF. When I looked at their ‘tool matrix’ I was flabbergasted to see that it resembled what looked like cutting & pasting from my first psychology book. Delving a little deeper and that’s exactly what their tool matrix is: their Librarian Jo Wood has a degree in History and cuts & pastes pages out of books or borrows extracts from Journals and they call them tools I mean you couldn’t make this rubbish up. It’s no wonder they can not think straight or write a report no self respecting professional could operate on these tools they are just scraps of extracts from psychology books. They call relic bits & bobs of NHS extracts and other borrowed snippets tools ..it’s akin to a joiner going to work with knifes and forks to carry out a craft: I’ve never seen anything like it... this is in no way in the interests of any child. Ofstead aren’t psychologists and probably have no idea what they are even looking at. A specialist psychologist has deemed their tools invalid : strange and haphazard to say the least.

They present as a rolls Royce yet lift the bonnet and look at the fine mechanics and you find literally a clapped out old banger unfit for purpose ; it’s truly shocking however they are being researched based on FOIA and they’re on borrowed time. I understand that it’s likely that in the future a public enquiry should happen with a view to a class action

They are not trained, their training & tool matrix is unfit for purpose as is the whole organisation. They are genuinely fanatics completely indoctrinated in this dogma; try having a conversation from them it’s like talking to tweedle Dee & Tweedle dum where words seem to mean anything they want them to. I have footage that frankly would shock the public to the very core with them unable to engage in a normal conversation talking sheer and utter ‘non sense’ completely flouting compliance and the law and a clear cut paperwork trail where the left hand doesn’t know what the right hands doing.

Many, many researchers and lobbyists are challenging this set of clowns and their smoke and mirrors process and additionally their backscratchers: PHSO and ICO all cut from the same cloth all working to the same format deceiving the public trying to grind them down burying their failures but every dog has its day.

A genuine enquiry is necessary for this set of clowns and a matter of time before someone like a Panorama obtain insider footage.

They made front pages of the guardian and with the “breach birth of this CIAF” they are not going ‘unnoticed’...

Much of what they do is being scrutinised and many with a great sense of injustice will spend as many years as it takes to expose their shambolic and unlawful processes.
