Cars presented for Driving Tests
Dear Driving Standards Agency,
I am interested in the proportion of Category B driving tests in private cars compared to instructors cars, and the pass rates for each category.
If you keep information on whether the car presented for test is fitted with dual controls then please provide the following information :
For calendar year 2011
a) how many Category B tests were taken in cars WITH dual controls and what was the pass rate
b) how many Category B tests were taken in cars WITHOUT dual controls and what was the pass rate
If you do not have a flag to identify dual controls then please provide the breakdown based on whether an ADI Reference number was recorded (green or pink badge).
I do not need a breakdown by month or area, just a total figure for the year.
Thank you.
Yours faithfully,
Mike Ward
