"Under the general requirements of the Freedom of Information Act 2000, I would be grateful if you would provide the following information in relation to Bretby Lane DE15 0QP and in particular the section that you have responsibility for between Mount Road and The Bretby Roundabout in East Staffordshire.
Dates of all safety inspections undertaken on the carriageway in the two years preceding the 11th April 2018
Details of all carriageway defects identified during safety inspections in the two years preceding 11th April 2018
Details of how carriageway safety inspections are undertaken, including whether walked or driven, the speed of the inspection vehicle and the number of persons in the vehicle.
The intended frequency of carriageway safety inspections.
Details of all complaints and/or inquiries relating to the carriageway, received in the two years preceding 11th April 2018
The hierarchy classification.
The road/section number.
The defect intervention criteria adopted in relation to the identification of all categories of carriageway potholes.

Our response to your Environmental Information Regulations 2004 request is
detailed below:

 

The hierarchy classification for the section of road in question is '4a -
Link Road'.

The information relating to our current intervention levels and response
times is available on the council’s website as they were approved at a
meeting of the Cabinet Member – Jobs, Economy and Transport on 9 July 2013
and an Updated Technical Annex to the Highway Network Management Plan –
Reactive Maintenance Teams Operational Manual on 6 May 2014. Please see

Derbyshire County Council does work to the latest version of the national
code of practice for highway maintenance management except where committee
approval has been gained to deviate from it, records of which are
available as public documents via the council’s website.

 

NB: Some of the personal third party data contained within the information

Data: because this is the personal data of named individuals or could lead
to the personal data of named individuals being uncovered who did not
necessarily consent to their details being released at the time it was
given to the council. Consideration has been given as to whether it would

released and the decision has been taken that it would not and it is
therefore withheld for the reason stated.
