Perhaps this question just opens a can of worm for Bexley Borough Council, what do they have to hide, A more cynical person would say that skulduggery was the workings of Bexly Council..... but not me!

First and foremost, if they are trying to improve efficiency, access to this information is in their own interests - an audit should be made into how they spend their taxpayers money and if they are doing it effectively.
Secondly, if there is a limit for each FOI request, send each question on it's own...simples!

I agree, maybe each question needs to be asked separately? Or perhaps Bexley could be asked to elaborate on how they think the request could be refined in order to reduce the cost to within the appropriate limit.

Dear Bexley Borough Council,

Please pass this on to the person who conducts Freedom of Information reviews.

I am writing to request an internal review of Bexley Borough Council's handling of my FOI request 'Carers Grants'.

You initially refused to respond to the FOI request, which in itself is suprising as most other London councils have replied to exactly the same question.

In oyur refusal, you offered to assist in framing the rnquiry, so that it was able to be responded to. I took you up on that offer but to date, the request is still outstanding.

A full history of my FOI request and all correspondence is available on the Internet at this address:
