Dear Paul, Diana,

I am afraid that I am dyslexic and suffer a severe mental impairment. I am trying not to become more marginalised through my inability to cope with the information age in gaining access to public services.

However, I am still unable to access the documents,
MANCASrevisedJuly09.doc or Cpa Policy12.pdf

It is not my intention to unduly trouble you and I do hope your Trust is sympathetic to the difficulties of its client base in accessing its services.

Yours sincerely,

Alastair Patterson

Paul, Diana,

It might be down to the software you have, could you please let me know what word package etc you use and I will see if the information can be saved in that, otherwise if you could send me your address and I could post the information to you.

Thanks

Alastair Patterson

Dear Paul, Diana,

I one of a group of vulnerable adults who for many years have subjected to routine abuse by social and health care practitioners in authorities such as yours. We have been left unprotected by grossly inadequate advocacy services.

We have now secured the support of proper advocacy services from outside of England and Wales and I am acting on the behalf of all. We need the specification of the services that we are meant to receive as the protection against the abuse we do receive.

That is the point of this site, if I can solve a problem for me in public then I have solved it for all. It is the complementary form of Martin Luther King's famous maxim,
"Injustice nowhere is a justice everywhere."

We and our families have suffered this abuse from childhood and are all well embedded in the 20% functionally illiterate output of the education system, as, I would imagine, are most of your client base.

So far this request has cost me £10 of my benefits in phone cards to get nowhere except find out this is nothing at all to do with my Word. One of the files referred to is a pdf document in any case.

All that needs doing is to attach the,

"MANCASrevisedJuly09.doc", which is a Word document
and
"Cpa Policy12.pdf", which is a pdf document,

to your e - mail response in exactly the same way as you attached "FOI 468 completion.doc" to the e - mail in the first instance. I trust that they will be sufficiently comprehensive for the intended purpose.

Thank - you,

Yours sincerely,

Alastair Patterson

Dear Paul, Diana,

Thank you for you comprehensive response. May I respectfully suggest that as we move into Professor Munro's "learning culture" in mental health and social care, section 16 of MANCASrevised July09.doc be updated to incorporate the CAF assessment and the Team Around the Child.

That the care plan should incorporate a plan to safeguard and promote the children's welfare at the relevant level of intervention, with associated court orders where necessary. See http://www.whatdotheyknow.com/request/ch... for a summary of the courts interventions and CAFCASS supervision.

You may also notice that the judiciary will generating outcome data from their Care Monitoring System that you may find useful.

Regards,

Alastair

Yours sincerely,
