From 1st January 2020 to the day this request is processed, I would like to request all correspondence and communications between this authority and the Care Quality Commission that mentions, or refers to, the coronavirus.
I am happy for you to conduct an electronic search only. Please conduct a search among the department(s) that is most likely to have interactions with the Care Quality Commission.
I would like to receive this information in an electronic format. If you feel that a substantive response to this request is not possible within a reasonable time frame, I would be grateful if you could contact me and provide assistance as to how I can refine the request. Thank you for your request for information regarding ‘Care Quality Commission’ (reference number 06229). Your request was received on the 06/05/20 and I am dealing with it under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 and/or Environmental Information Regulations 2004.
In some circumstances a fee may be payable and if that is the case, I will let you know. A fees notice will be issued to you, and you will be required to pay before we will proceed to deal with your request.
Please note that our response to Freedom of Information Requests (FOIs) may take longer for us to complete at the moment because of COVID-19 implications.
The ICO has advised that although they are unable to extend statutory timescales, they will advise people that they may experience understandable delays when making FOIs, EIRs or SARs during the COVID-19 pandemic.

All our strategic conversations with the CQC have been through ADASS and
the LRF. However there have been some contacts between our Contracts and
Procurement Service and CQC for the period specified.
