Thank you for your email. Whilst we and the majority of our colleagues are working remotely from the University we will endeavour to respond to emails / requests / queries as soon as we are able and within any regulatory deadlines we may have, but please bear with us. We will keep you updated at all times about the progress of your request and let you know if we believe there may be a delay in responding for operational reasons
Dear C Swanson,
I refer to your email of 10 May 2022 in which you submitted a request
under the Freedom of Information Act 2000. Your request relates to
information concerning care experienced applicants.
As you may be aware, the University has 20 working days in which to
respond to your request. Therefore, I will respond more fully by 9 June
2022, although if it is possible to reply before then I will do so.
Should you have any queries before then, however, please feel free to
contact me again by replying to this email.
Yours sincerely
Nicola

Please don’t take offence if I don’t reply to say ‘thank you’. If every UK
adult sent 1 less courtesy email a day, we’d save over 16,400 tonnes of
carbon a year – so, [6]think before you thank.
Dear C Swanson,
Please find attached a response to your Freedom of Information Request.
I trust the information in the attached letter is helpful to you but if
you have any further queries, please feel free to contact me by replying
to this email.
Yours sincerely

Dear Nicola Young,
Many thanks for your information. Can I make a quick query please?
The number enrolled in both years for which information was provided appears to be significantly greater than those offered a place which seems contradictory. Can you advise?
Many thanks
Yours sincerely,
C. Swanson
Dear C Swanson,
Thank you for your email and I'm sorry there appears to be an
inconsistency in our response - I will look into this and get back to you
as soon as possible
Best wishes

Dear C Swanson,
Many thanks for your patience whilst I looked into your query. The data
provided in the letter was taken from a summary table, however,
having reviewed the background data used to create the table, it
appears that the wrong column was transposed into the summary table, so
the figures provided were incorrect as you suggested they might be.
I am now attaching to this email an updated response letter with our
apologies that we did not spot the inconsistency before responding.
Please feel free to contact me again if you have any further questions.
Best wishes
Nicola
