In particular, please supply me with information relating to the following questions:

Our response:

a. Yes. NWLDC adopted its Zero Carbon Roadmap and Action Plan in March
2020. As part of this process there were workshops to engage and educate
all the officer senior leadership team, led by our consultants Etude
together with the council's Zero Carbon project sponsor. In addition,
NWLDC uses the Skillgate online training platform. One of the training
modules is Carbon Literacy and Net Zero which has been rolled out to the
leadership team (10). It is mandatory training for all council staff from
March 2023.

In addition, three team managers and one officer completed carbon literacy
training and are Carbon Literacy Project certified.
