Dear Plymouth City Council,
Can you provide me with the following information under the freedom of information act.
1. Locations of all car parking spaces of which PCC patrol for reasons of parking infringement.
Your website does not give on street parking. Does this need updating with on street parking?

2. What procedure does PCC use to get to the amount that PCC charge for use of a PCC parking space?
3. Total number of Penalty Charge Notice that PCC have made in the last 5 years - in yearly totals. Please use this figure for 3a and 3b and split in to years.
3a. Number of PCN that have been contested and won.
3b. Number of PCN that have been contested and lost.
4. Number of PCN issued where a vehicle was illegally parked in a disabled bay.
5. Guidelines issues to Civil enforcement officer of how to deal with issuing PCN. (London use http://www.londoncouncils.gov.uk/service...)

2. What procedure does PCC use to get to the amount that PCC charge for
use of a PCC parking space?
2A) Plymouth City Council will consider the following when determining the
fee charged for a parking space: -
- The cost of running and maintaining an asset
- Location of the asset and what purpose it serves
- Alternative parking in the area
- Who is likely to be using the asset
- Charges of alternative providers
- Impact on sustainable travel/public transport services
- Consistency with other similar Council facilities
In respect to procedures, when setting a charge or reviewing a charge
these have to be approved by the Cabinet Member for Transport and the
process of setting any fee is subject to public consultation.
3. Total number of Penalty Charge Notice that PCC have made in the last 5
years - in yearly totals. Please use this figure for 3a and 3b and split
into years:

Please note that PCN data held in Plymouth City Council’s Data System is
regularly purged to comply with the Council’s data retention policies and
to conform to DVLA requirements. Cases which have been closed are not kept
for a period longer than 2 years. In view of this we are unable to report
accurately PCN information which is older than 2 years:
