Rob made this Freedom of Information request to University of Hull

This request has been closed to new correspondence from the public body. Contact us if you think it ought be re-opened.

The request was partially successful.

Dear University of Hull,

I would like to know how much money is raised from car parking at the University of Hull. eg How much was raised by fines and how much from each type of parking permit.

I would also like to know how the money raised was spent. Was it used to maintain and improve car parking and security of the car parks?

Can this information be provided for the past 3 financial years and the year to date totals for the current financial period?

Yours faithfully,

Vicky Mays, University of Hull

Dear Vicky Mays,

Thank you for your response.

Could I ask for a break down of how the money raised was spent? For example how much was spend on car park repairs, how much was spent on additional CCTV, etc.

The response didn't mention how much was raised from parking fines, is this information available? If so can this information be provided?

AS you don't record the amount raised by each type of permit is it possible to find out how many permits of each type was issued? For example how many A permits was issued, how many AX permits, etc.

Yours sincerely,
