Dear University of Oxford,

It is my understanding that, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic, many of the University examinations that would ordinarily have been held in May/June 2020 were cancelled. Relating to this, I request the following information under section 1 of the Freedom of Information Act 2000 (c. 36):

(1) On what date(s) was the decision(s) taken to cancel the University examinations that were scheduled to take place in May/June 2020, as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic?
(2) Which of your employee(s) or officer(s) made that decision(s)?
(3) Were any examination papers (or other materials) produced (whether in draft or in completed form) in the subjects of mathematics, chemistry, and physics, prior to the date on which the decision(s) to cancel were made?
(4) If the answer to Question 3 is 'yes', please provide copies of those examination papers (or other materials) to me.

Yours faithfully,

B R Marsden
