Canada Water Regeneration - Section 106 monitoring
Dear Southwark Borough Council,
I am writing to request the following information.
Sites A&B of the Canada Water regeneration scheme (Planning application ref:09/AP/1870) provided 668 new homes, of which 123 were supposed to be social rented according to the section 106 planning legal agreement.
Please tell me when the Council last monitored this development to ensure that the registered provider (Affinity Sutton), continues to comply with the tenure requirements of the section 106 agreement.
Please tell me what the result of that monitoring exercise was, i.e. are the 123 social rented units all still being let at social rents (i.e. determined by the National Rent Regime formula)? or have any been converted to the new 'affordable rent' (determined as a percentage of market rent)? if so, how many have been converted? and what is the percentage of market rent these are being let at?
I look forward to hearing from you.
Yours faithfully,
Jerry Flynn
