Can you confirm that Benefit 'medical examinations' (AKA assessments) are valid?

The request was refused by Department of Health and Social Care.

Dear Department of Health and Social Care,
To be brief:
Many assessment reports of sick benefit claimants are not in-keeping with their conditions and do not relate to the medical evidence provided by Surgeons, Specialists, GP's etc., Can you please confirm that, on the advice of the doctor not to work, that an assessment carried out by a private company for the government finds them fit to work is actually a valid assessment of the patient?

Many assessments are reported as 'fairy tales' as 'lies' as 'distortion of the facts' Can you confirm that these assessments are valid despite having all the medical evidence to back up the conditions and how they affect the patients everyday life?

Yours faithfully,

Trudy Baddams
