Dear Cambridgeshire Constabulary,

Can you please provide the following information;

1. on how many occasion in the last 5 years (give detail per year) have the Cambridgeshire police requested CCTV footage for use in criminal proceedings from the Council

2. On how many occasions has Cambridge Council provided footage to Cambridgeshire police in the last 5 yrs (figures for each year in breakdown)

3. On how many occasions in the last year has Cambridge Council notified the local police that the CCTV is non operational - please provide copies of any notices

4. How many crimes have been recorded in the City Center of cambridge in the last 5 yrs, please breakdown figures for a per year basis

In reply to your request for information under the Freedom of Information
Act 2000, received 29/01/13.

The Freedom of Information Act 2000 (The Act) requires us to handle all
requests in a manner that is blind to the identity of the requestor. Any
information released in response to a request is regarded as being
published, and therefore in the public domain without caveat.

Can you please provide the following information;

We have completed all searches within Cambridgeshire Constabulary and
hereby enclose your response.

1. Unfortunately, we have been unable to locate any information to satisfy
your request, as we do not hold this information. This information is not
recorded, officers investigating would approach the council direct,
requesting CCTV. Under Section 16 duty to advise and assist you may wish
to contact the council direct who may record the information requested,
however I can not confirm that this is the case.
