Calls to attend HMP Manchester

Dear Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service,

I am writing to make a request for the following information for the property of HMP Manchester, 1 Southall St, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M60 9AH:-

1. Since 2004 how many times has the fire service attended the above property due to emergency calls? and can list of dates and times be supplied?

2. With reference to #1 how many appliances attended these call outs?

3. With reference to #1, what was the cause of each call out, Fire, Lift Stuck, Malicious Call, Gas Leak, or Other?

4. If any of the call outs were due to fire, what was the cause?

5. When arriving outside of the prison how long before the first appliance arrived at the location of the fire or where the fire was?

6. How many fires where put out by prison staff before the service arrived?

June 2024, regarding the following:
I am writing to make a request for the following information for the
property of HMP Manchester, 1 Southall St, Cheetham Hill, Manchester M60
9AH:-
1. Since 2004 how many times has the fire service attended the above
property due to emergency calls? and can list of dates and times be

following the date of receipt , the deadline for your request will be 28
June 2024. If the timescale needs to be extended , you will be notified of
this.
