CAHMS treatment

The request was successful.

To whom it may concern,

I would like to make the following request under the terms of the Freedom of Information Act 2000.

1) Could you please tell me the number of people referred to CAMHS services at your trust in both 2019 and so far this year, broken down by month?

2) Could you further tell me the number of people actually starting treatment at CAMHS services at your trust in 2019, and so far this year, broken down by month?

3) Could you tell me how many of the people who started treatment in 2019 did it online? And similarly, how many of the people who started in 2020 did so online?

4) Finally, could you tell me how many people are currently on a waiting list for CAMHS treatment, and how that compares to the same point last year?

If you feel that this request is likely to breach any cost limits, please disregard point 1) above.

If it is still likely to breach limits, disregard point 3)

Yours faithfully,

Matthew Thompson

FOI BHT - Berkshire Healthcare NHS Trust, Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust

Dear Matthew

Further to your Freedom of information request.

Berkshire Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust is committed to the Freedom of Information Act 2000. However, the NHS is facing unprecedented challenges relating to the coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic at the current time. Understandably, our resources have been diverted to support our front-line colleagues who are working tremendously hard to provide care for our patients, and to those in need of our services. The Information Commissioners Office also recognises the current situation in the NHS.

We strive to be transparent and to work with an open culture. But at this time, whilst care of our patients and the safety of our staff takes precedent, it is likely that responses to some requests for information will be delayed. Therefore, we would ask you to consider withdrawing your request and submitting it at a future date so our services can concentrate on pandemic planning and recovery.

Please advise if you would be willing to withdraw this FOI request.

I hope this simplifies the current process. Please let me have any thoughts on this.

Many thanks

Regards,
Sandra
